FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT NMN
WHAT IS NMN?
NMN (Nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a nucleotide that is most recognized for its role as an intermediate of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) biosynthesis.
NAD+, a co-enzyme involved in a great deal of biochemical reactions, has been found to be a network node of diverse biological processes. In mammalian cells, NAD+ is synthetized, predominantly through NMN, to replenish the consumption by NADase participating in physiologic processes including DNA repair, metabolism, and cell growth.
NMN availability is a rate-limiting factor in mammalian NAD+ biosynthesis.
JEMSCIENCE is the leader in coenzyme research, with our engineered enzyme and biocatalysis system, we managed to synthesize the world’s purest NMN. (99.8% Certified).
